Ms. Quilizapa represents public agencies, municipalities, financial institutions, businesses and individuals in litigation matters related to public law, water law, real property, construction, and contracts.
Ms. Quilizapa has litigated matters involving complex issues of groundwater extraction and storage rights, CEQA, constitutional law, construction, governmental and public law, bankruptcy, directors’ and officers’ liability, and commercial law. Ms. Quilizapa is a member of MKB’s litigation department and has substantial responsibility for case management and strategy, discovery, trial preparation and trial. She represents public and private clients in various forms of alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration and mediation.
Before joining MKB, Ms. Quilizapa practiced as a litigator with Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP. Ms. Quilizapa graduated Order of the Coif from Loyola Law School in 2004, where she was a member of the International and Comparative Law Review and the St. Thomas More Honor Society.
Admitted 2009, California and U.S. District Court, Central and Northern Districts of California.
