Mrs. Bennett has concentrated her practice in the specialized fields of estate planning, probate and trust litigation, as well as the general practice areas associated with those fields such as beneficiary disputes over pension and ERISA benefits, claims for elder abuse and fraud to recapture property, real property transactions, contract negotiations, business and partnership agreements and other business transactions.  She also has experience in all aspects of appellate practice, from brief writing to oral argument, and recently argued a case in Division Two of the Fourth Appellate District.

Mrs. Bennett advises clients on the complex and ever-changing issues that arise in connection with estate planning.  Her probate and trust experience includes advising and representing clients in estate administration, will and trust contests, and conservatorship and guardianship proceedings.  She is on the panel for appointment by the Orange County Superior Court as legal counsel to represent proposed conservatees.

Before joining MKB, Mrs. Bennett gained extensive experience in federal bankruptcy court representing debtors and creditors in Chapters 7, 11 and 13.  This knowledge of bankruptcy law and the bankruptcy courts is frequently valuable in her current practice.
